'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus!

We are ecstatic to let you all know that Jace has been approved to go for his surgery to John's Hopkins in Baltimore!! God has been faithful through out this whole process and and so gracious to us. He has given us peace that He is in control and that it is all on His perfect timing. We have been blessed with so many great prayer warriors, we always knew someone was praying for Jace and the situation.
Next week we will call to get a surgery date scheduled with Dr. Gearhart. Through this process of getting coverage for Jace, we were told was near impossible by people that know the process. We trusted God to continue to open and close the doors. He did exactly that! Because we had the opportunity to go to Hopkins to visit already, we know what to expect when we get there. It takes some of the unknowns out:) The surgery is what we have been thinking of the most. But we know God has it all under control and He will do what is best for Jace. God has led us to many parents who have been through this recently with their child. They have become a great supports and friends to us.
We will keep you posted on the surgery date as we get information. The plan is for Danny and Ian to come out for the two or three months so we can all be together. There is a house that John's Hopkins has available for families who are there for a long period of time. It is $20 per night. They have volunteers who come in and fix meals for the families and the hospital provides tickets to the aquarium, baseball games and other things to do around town. We did find out that the bus system is free for all of Baltimore:) Yay!

Some prayer needs for the next few weeks:
1. For us to continue to rest in the Lord as the plans unfold.
2. Financial support to help with expenses while we are in Baltimore.
3. To be a testimony to other families that are going through this and to glorify our GREAT LORD!
4. That God would grow us together as a family.
5. Wisdom in making decisions.
6. For fellowship and encouragement while we are in Baltimore. (find a solid church to attend)
